About Us

Formed in 2007, LGR-Racing was formed by Liam Robertson, initially to pacify the wishes of his Mum who was'nt happy with him riding on the public highway (that's nurses for you!). So Liam switched his attentions to the track, and after stripping down his much loved Ducati 748, proceded to impress at a number of track-days that year, though the bike suffered from unreliability issues and had major problems with both clutch and engine. Inevitably the engine finally let go at Oulton Park, and after a short (and to be honest, quite impressive) spell on a Kawasaki, Liam has now found better consistency on a Honda CBR600RR.

In 2009 Liam moved from a Ducati 748 onto a Honda CBR600RR...... a bike originally used by Cal Crutchlow in the British Supersport series.

Liam (26) has shown steady progress throughout the last couple of seasons and after numerous sessions at Ty Croes & Oulton Park he now has his racing licence and is enjoying the thrills of a challenging racing season.

The team are now members of the 'Wirral 100' club, where further experience will be gained, but as with all forms of motorsport, sponsorship is crucial. B&K Williams Garage Services & Hughes Meats have recently been added to our sponsorship portfolio.
